Born and raised in Central Massachusetts, Dave attended Sutton High School, while playing on their baseball and basketball teams. He also served the community and was a role model to younger generations as an Instructor for the Northbridge Park and Recreation program. He then went on to attend Worcester State University, where he earned a BA in Communications.
Since 2007, Dave has been the Director of Local Affairs for Representative George Peterson. In this capacity, he has dealt with many issues that individuals face. Most notably, unemployment benefits, healthcare coverage, and fuel assistance to individuals and families in need. Dave’s familiarity with the many state agencies and their respective liaison’s, as well as his working relationships that have been forged through his time on Beacon Hill, provide him with a great asset; knowledge of the system and how it works.
Dave is the nephew of the late Richard “Dick” Egsegian, former Athletic Director and Grafton head football coach. While his uncle was quiet and reserved, he taught Dave the value of hard work and dedication. Dave is a member of the Grafton Republican Town Committee, as well as Gun Owners’ Action League. He recently married his beautiful wife and best friend, Jessica, and they reside in Grafton.
