July 22nd 2015 BOSTON – Representative David Muradian (R-Grafton) is excited to announce that the Mendon-Upton School District will be receiving an additional $74,633 for regional school transportation.
This money is part of $5 million in funding that Governor Baker recently restored to the budget. The money was cut by the previous administration as an attempt to bridge a state budget gap and will go a long way toward assisting regional schools with budgeting as transportation costs continue to climb across the Commonwealth.
“I am very excited that this money has been released for the Mendon-Upton School District,” stated Rep. Muradian. “We are lucky to have an administration that is committed to funding education for the children of the Commonwealth. This money will help the children of our district continue to receive a top notch education-and be safe on the way there and back home each day.”
