August 13th 2015 BOSTON – Representative David K. Muradian, Jr. (R-Grafton) joined Massachusetts Secretary of Energy and Environmental Affairs on a tour of New England Disposal Technologies (NEDT) on August 7th. The tour was led by Michael Robertson, the President of the company.
NEDT was formed in 1995 in order to provide hazardous waste disposal and lab pack services to public and private sector clients-filling an important void in the industry. The company provides many important services including: 24-hour chemical and oil emergency spill response services, specialty chemical disposal and chemical and oil tank cleaning and removal. This year, the Sutton Company is celebrating its 20th anniversary and holds a statewide contract with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
“Bringing Secretary Beaton to NEDT was a perfect opportunity to showcase a local company doing great things,” state Rep. Muradian. “NEDT’s statewide contract shows how the private sector and the public sector can work together to efficiently supply services to the people of the Commonwealth. They are a true success story, and an asset to the Blackstone Valley.”
“NEDT is a full-service environmental cleanup contractor with an excellent reputation for service to the Commonwealth,” said Energy and Environmental Affairs Secretary Matthew Beaton. “The company responds to numerous spills and emergency incidents each year, helping the Commonwealth to immediately remediate serious problems and assist in our Secretariat’s mission of providing a clean, healthy environment for all.”
